Pre-Law Mentorship Program
What can I expect?
The most important thing you’ll receive from Beyond the Numbers is accountability and community from both mentors and mentees. Each month will be a different topic relative to each component of the law school application. Topics will include but are not limited to:
- How to select law schools
- Personal Statement
- Diversity Statement
- Addendums
- Optional Statements
- Resumes
- Navigating wait-lists
- How to negotiate scholarships
Additionally, I will show examples of properly and poorly written application components. You will leave each monthly workshop with homework. There will also be unofficial Zoom calls where mentors and mentees get together in a casual setting to get to know each other and answer any burning questions.
Will the price of my mentorship ever increase?
It will not. Your mentorship fee will remain at $25 for the life of the membership.
Can I get a refund if I’m unhappy with my purchase?
Since this is a monthly membership, previous monthly fees will not be refunded. However, you can cancel your membership at any time if you feel fulfilled within the mentorship or like you no longer need it.
Document Review
What is the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LA CARTE & COACHING DOCUMENT REVIEW?
1-on-1 Coaching & Document Review Services is for those who are starting from scratch and need help brainstorming and writing their statements. If you’re yet to select a theme for your statements, or need help fleshing out ideas, this service is best for you as it offers 3 rounds of coaching calls and edits on 3-4 documents.
A La Carte Document Review Services is for those that have their statements and other documents semi-finalized and would like for the reviewer to do a comprehensive spell and grammar check, tie up any lose ends, and ensure the theme of the statement is prevalent. These services only offer one round of edits and a call. The call is not guaranteed as it is at the mentor’s discretion contingent on how heavily the documents have been edited.
What is the turn around time for edits?
Each round of edits, where applicable, have a 14 day turnaround from day of submission.
Can I get a refund if I’m unhappy with my purchase?
Mentors typically begin editing documents upon 24 hours of you purchasing the services. Therefore, to ensure their valuable time, and potential edits, don’t go to waste, you have 24 hours from the time of purchase to cancel. After that, there will be no refund.
Can I purchase DOCUMENT REVIEW SERVICES more than once?
Absolutely! If you find yourself wishing to have more documents reviewed, simply purchase the relevant services again.
